- Typically, on a "big" anniversary -- 10 years, 20 years, 26 years, 30 years, 40 years, 50 years.

What typically happens at a renewal of vows?
- Always, you share your vows with one another.
- You can have a ceremony similar to a wedding ceremony. But you don't have to.
- You can include your children (and grandchildren) in the ceremony. But you don't have to.
How many people should you invite?
- You can have a big ceremony and "reception" with lots of family and friends.
- A smaller gathering with just a few family members friends. Usually followed by a meal together.
- Or you can have it be just the two of you -- done at the hotel or resort where you are celebrating for the weekend.
What kind of ceremonies do you do?
- Full service ceremony — Rev. Phil shares your love story at your renewal of vows. View videos of Rev. Phil sharing couples’ stories. You will get a complete script ten days in advance. He will meet with you for 2 hours to plan it all (in addition to the free one hour consultation).
- Standard ceremony — The most popular choice for a renewal of vows ceremony.There are a number of ways to customize the ceremony — customized vows, readings, sharing what you two love about each other, etc. You also get a complete script ten days before the ceremony.
- Basic ceremony — The most basic option. Rev. Phil comes to your location to do a brief ceremony.
